 Shinagawa Project
This project focused on the development of a new market in an area that has traditionally offered relatively little in terms of amusement venues.
GOLD ON Shinagawa is, in fact, the sole amusement facility at the Takanawa Exit at Shinagawa Station.

Backed by experience, performance, and research,
Yunika development plans are superior to all the rest!
Yunika competed against a number of other companies to acquire this property for development. Thanks to our detailed and persuasive presentation, the owners chose our concept and plan for this site over all of our rivals' plans.
The owners were initially concerned about the negative affect that an amusement facility as the main first-floor tenant would have on the ability to attract other tenants to what was originally to have been an office building. We received a list of requests from them: "do not situate amusement facilities at the front of the building," "do not use signs or neon lights," and "ensure that the noise level does not inconvenience neighboring tenants." To allay the owners' concerns and gain their approval for our project plans, the Shinagawa Project team took their requests extremely seriously. They repeatedly visited the commercial facilities used as a model, and took a great deal of care in designing the exterior and interior design and in selecting the materials to be used.
Comprehensive Site Review Guarantees Best Possible Customer Flow
The primary inspiration for the parlor's design was a hotel lobby. It features a gorgeous counter in lavish marble that greets customers as soon as they walk in the door. This concept posed a design challenge in effectively directing customer flow at the rear of the 992m2 space.
Rather than depend solely on blueprints, our team repeatedly visited the site to check actual dimensions. After determining the main line of flow, we studied the space at the rear of the parlor and set aisle widths to ensure the best possible flow of customers through our parlor.

 Simplicity and Magnificence Combine to
Create Ambiance Unique to Pachinko Parlors
Both the exterior and the interior of the parlor boast a magnificent ambiance, with an entrance and front counter framed by pillars of light designed to elicit the feel of an exclusive boutique or five-star hotel. We have created a streamlined, calming space using as subdued a color scheme as possible, with everything in whites, blacks and browns.
Each pachinko machine is equipped with an individual mini-locker (the first such experiment at a GOLD ON outlet) in keeping with the elegant, clutter-free feel of the space. Our designers were incredibly inventive, utilizing the area under stairs and other dead space for storage, and otherwise creating the most efficient layout possible.
 Project Success and Future Development
Introducing the GOLD ON pachinko parlor into an office building setting has energized the entire area, attracting greater numbers of customers to the restaurants in the building, as well. We anticipate that this parlor will continue to develop as an entertainment venue able to complement a myriad of other businesses in the building.
