Business Management Division Director    Yusuke Katayama

Observant of social changes and needs in varying real estate areas, having the flexibility to be both conservative and innovative as needed to either expand or change business operations, and having a global vision; Yunika has always practiced decision-making based on the best management strategies to continue advancing as a group. With our president taking the lead, this was made possible because our entire workforce contemplates daily about what is the best solution. I began as a member of part-time staff at an amusement facility where I found the opportunity to join the company, and now 20 full years have passed. I have previously worked at the Tama Center amusement facility management office, and at present, I am continuing work at head quarters. Previous endeavors I was involved with include the sudden takeover and transfer of a food service business to be operated and managed as our own when a former tenant had decided to withdraw from the food service industry. Another would be when accounting functions were to be concentrated to head quarters, I was involved with structuring the business operation and automation to enable central management of accounting operations of each store and facility at head quarters. Presently, I am involved with fundraising from financial institutions and forming the financial management plan for the entire company. Being involved with various businesses associated with real estate, I aim to keep spending fulfilling days and continue moving forward together with the company.

Manager, Finance Division, Business Administration Department    Takayuki Suzuki

It has been 13 years since I joined Yunika. During my first year, I worked at a pachinko parlor in hall services. I was then transferred to the Business Management Division, and am mainly involved with operations in the monthly and annual settlements of accounts. Recently, I have been appointed the role of chairperson at the daily meetings on varying development projects, and I am striving to enable the smooth progression of meetings. These meetings involve every division of the Yunika group in discussing the best strategy that is 'most profitable'. At the same time, it is a common meeting ground where mid-level employees can exchange opinions with the president and other board members on each project, and a place for learning on how to proceed with project development, and absorb the required know-how. It has been about a year now since being appointed chairperson, and although I am a very long way away from a perfect moderator, I can't afford to be afraid of failure, and make certain to catch any points which requires confirmation as meetings proceed. And, I have gained valuable knowledge from the opinions and ideas exchanged at the meetings between president, executives, board members and heads of department. I hope to apply this knowledge together with my own accumulated experience in the Accounting Department to be able to face any type of project and contribute to the growth of the company.

Business Management Division Accounting Department    Naoki Takahashi

I serve concurrently in accounting and financial affairs, and am in charge of the daily accounts, as well as the monthly and annual settlements of accounts for the Maghreb Division and overseas businesses. Since business operations span in various directions, I keep in mind to regularly maintain good communication with each division to properly understand their objectives. At times, it is difficult to accurately ascertain the exchanges and income and expenditures among the different divisions, but that is the key point of this company, and a worthwhile challenge in our operations. There are still many things to learn, such as technical terms and processing methods, and under the tutelage of my superiors, I also observe their work to learn the overall flow of account settlements and rules applied in accounting. Through this continual daily learning experience, I am staring to build my own mindset and evaluation standard in work, and I feel my scope of work has slowly but surely expanded. Including numerical data analysis on profit-loss and monetary matters, operations in accounting and financial affairs involves accurately understanding what the numbers mean and I believe applying that information contributes in business management. Although I am presently only involved in a small part of the overall accounting operations, I aim to continue accumulating knowledge and on-site experience in accounting and financial affairs. And in the future, I hope to handle bank matters and be involved in account settlement and tax return operations, and contribute to this company.
